Problem

A SaaS company needed a seamless, secure, and fast subscription flow to maximize conversion rates. The existing solution was slow, difficult to maintain, and lacked robust error handling during checkout.

Managing complex state during checkout, handling multi-tier subscriptions, processing asynchronous webhook events reliably, and optimizing frontend performance.

Solution

I architected a highly responsive Next.js frontend and integrated it directly with Stripe Subscription Checkout:

  • Implemented idempotent webhook processing to prevent double-charging or skipped subscriptions.
